Kandinsky Lesson

Within this lesson, I assessed student learning by practicing motion techniques with the students before working on the final project.  This was a crucial part of the lesson to understand if students could follow directions and proper technique, in the style of Kandinsky.

9th Grade Unit

Style and Design Lesson

At the ending of each project, the students are required to complete an End of the Project Reflection.  This reflection allows the students to look back on their final piece, including the process.  The following document attached are questions asked within the End of Project Reflection (EOPR).

As well as completing an End of Project Reflection (EOPR), students are asked to complete a project rubric where they rate their final project and process through 5 different categories:

  • Production
  • Participation
  • Creativity
  • Craftsmanship
  • End of Project Reflection
